I'm a 22 years old CG artist from Belgium who loves to create 3D and VFX stuff.
I also design websites.

About me

Well, here we are.

My name is Quentin Geluyckens, I am 22 years old and I just graduated in Computer Graphics at the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard, in Belgium.

When I was a teenager, I felt in love with the idea of "creating things that does not really exists", and that's what I do. I create stuff. Loads of stuff.
At the age of 13, I discovered Adobe Photoshop 6. I was totaly amazed by the offered possibilities! The same year, I uploaded my first website.

I also love cinema. I love it so much that I want my name in the ending titles of a movie. I want to be that name you see when you stay during the whole credits. Not the one everyone can see as soon as the film ends, but the name you see approximatively 5 minutes after the movie is over. One of those guys you'll never meet, but who made the movie you've just watched. The movie you'll be talking about for days, month, or years...

Beside of all of that, I enjoy to practice badminton, kayak, surf and archery. I also love serie-Z movies, zombie stuff, old-school gaming and cola drinks. As a Belgian, beer is a religion.

My main interest in life is Art. I can't describe how much I love it. In every shape.
I started to study it when I was 6, with drawing, painting, argentic photography and sculpture classes. Begin it so soon allowed me to see the world through my very own vision and helped me to open my mind.

In the past, I lived in France, Morroco, and now Belgium. Back to the roots. I really like to travel around the world and one of my biggest dreams is to visit Australia and to live in New Zealand.

Over the past year, I worked on Haunted ("the Potato Movie Project"), with my classmate Christopher Taylor. We created the entire movie from scratch, with the challenge of using Blender as the main 3D/compositing software package, and before that we both had a very little experience with Blender.
